I've created some roles where the assigned users can only see and edit pages that have a specific parent category and its child categories. When they create a new page it has the category that is set to "default" for that role. That works fine so far.
But, when these users create a new page (which has the default category assigned) and want to assign a child category additional to the parent category then nothing happens. In fact, this step also unselect every other category but the parent category (if set by the admin).
Example: Default (parent) category is A, and a child category is b. When the editor creates a new page it is assigned to category A. When he selects category b additional to A and clicks on publish, the page has only assigned category A.
When the admin does the same, the page has category A and b assigned. BUT, when the editor opens that page, and wants to select another child category c, that it switches back an ONLY category A is selected. Category b is unchecked.
Any idea, what went wrong? If you need further explanation let me know.
